CPT4 and ICD9 Code Updates Are Available for Year 2004

We are pleased to announce that in January and February 2004, we performed CPT4 (procedure) and ICD9 (diagnosis) code updates for the year 2004 for all current clients.

Software Updates for Hippocrates III System Clients

Update for Hippocrates III for iSeries (AS/400)

Hippocrates III updates are scheduled to be performed in February through May of 2004 for Devington iSeries systems clients with OS/400 versions 4.4.0 and up. The updates will include all components for full HIPAA code compliance.

We regret being unable to provide updates for earlier OS/400 releases: if you have an OS/400 release earlier than 4.4.0, please call us at (212) 967-0601 at once, to arrange for an operating system (OS/400) upgrade. Once your operating system has been upgraded, we can install your Hip III update. You'll then be able to take advantage of the additional Hippocrates III features available, including full HIPAA code compliance.

Software Updates for Hippocrates III ePA Clients

Update for ePA (Web Access) Hippocrates III

Hippocrates III updates are performed on an ongoing basis for all Devington ePA clients. The most recent updates in February and March 2004 have brought ePA clients into full HIPAA code compliance.

If you have a Devington ePA account, you are already capable of taking advantage of all the additional Hippocrates III features provided by the update, including full HIPAA code compliance.

To send HIPAA-ready electronic batches, you will need the new Devington HIPAA Transfer component. If you don't already have this component installed and working, please contact us at (212) 967-0601, to arrange for installation and training for this component.
